Mission

You are responsible for sourcing complex purchase files, in line with the defined strategy. You lead and coordinate - in close consultation with the senior buyers - the various procurement tracks in order to:

• To ensure that Luminus uses the best possible suppliers and solutions in the most optimal way to create value and drive performance.
• Contribute to the company's EBITDA through the results achieved (savings, value creation, ...)
• Create and promote cost-consciousness within Luminus

Tasks

• You will assist the senior buyers and the various internal customers in defining and communicating the most appropriate category strategy plan for the different categories
• You are responsible for executing, implementing and managing the sourcing process (RFx), in line with the defined strategy of the relevant category, with the aim of optimising TCO and creating value for your internal customers
• You will assist the junior buyers in the intake process of some of their files and further guide them in their execution
• Your excellent knowledge of sourcing in general, and the services and IT market in particular, enables you to understand the needs of your internal clients and assist them appropriately
• You advise and guide your internal customers in defining and formulating their needs in order to translate them into specifications
• You select suppliers, negotiate the offers, and award the contracts, within the lines of the internal policy and the predefined category strategy
• You will assist internal customers in contract management and follow-up of existing contracts
• You evaluate existing suppliers, is consultation with he internal customers;
• Market research: you track trends and movements within the industry and supplier landscape
• You participate in optimising the purchasing process and procedures

• Master's degree
• Trilingual NL/FR/EN
• Experience in project management and methodology
• 5+ years in (project) procurement
• Experience in purchasing services and/or IT projects
• Strong in project management, sourcing and cost analysis
