Maintenance Manager New CCGT Seraing
Job description
Luminus is building a full new gas-fired power plant in Seraing in line with the Capacity Market (CRM). This gas-fired power plant (870 MW) owned by Luminus Seraing 2.0 (LSG*) will be the most powerful and efficient in Europe.
This new CCGT will be led by the Plant manager who will report to the Luminus Corporate Director Production.
Mission
- During the mobilization phase he/she will prepare the maintenance organization and the maintenance systems (in CMMS(i)) to be fully ready when the Operations & Maintenance phase starts
- The MAI Manager has to recruit and set up the staffing of his/her teams. He/she organizes their training
and ensure their personal/collective development as well as their health,
safety and well-being.
- He/she gives support for decision-making on daily technical matters.
- Adequate reporting to all involved stakeholders of the Maintenance activities and contracts related to Maintenance activities of the power plant
- With his/her teams, the maintenance Manager is responsible for all maintenance related activities. It includes :
- the design and staffing of the maintenance organization as well as the implementation of the maintenance processes and governance,
- organize the daily and LT maintenance activities of his teams, request support of centralized maintenance supporting teams and involve subcontractors when needed,
- the management of the LTSA(ii) contract,
- the preparation and follow up of activities of the LTSA contract,
- contribute to the management of the EPC(iii) contract post COD(iv)
(defect notification period, warranty period, 10-year liability period of EPC contractor), part related to the maintenance perimeter
- The role of the maintenance manager is to ensure the best-in-class maintenance practices of the plant by developing a continuous improvement approach. As such, he/she bears full responsibility for achieving the related objectives and KPI’s.
- The Maintenance manager has to set up and review the long term maintenance strategy of the full power plant assets and, once approved, implement it.
- The MAI Manager may have to take over the responsibilities of the Plant Manager in his/her absence.

General activities
- Accountable for health, safety, well-being and environment (HSE) of his/her teams related to their activities on site
- Accountable for cybersecurity related to his/her scope of activities with the support of centralized Luminus services
- Responsible for the spare part policy and management
- Responsible for the warehouse management
- Ensure the staffing and organization of the Maintenance teams
- Appropriate training of his/her teams and implementation of the necessary operation instructions and the relevant governance
- Coaching and development, motivating and inspiring his/her team members
- Responsible for the set up and actualization of maintenance plans including the execution of Maintenance activities to ensure optimum availability of the power plant and compliancy with permit constraints (e.g. environmental) and applicable regulations & laws
- Compliance of his/her organization with all Luminus policies (HSE, CSR, Purchasing, HR, …)
- Achievement of the objectives set for all performance indicators :

- Maintenance governance KPI’s
- Proposes the annual operating plan (Y+1) and long term operating plan (Y+1, Y+2, Y+3) (mid-term strategy) and has to get the validation
- Adequate reporting of the Maintenance activities and all contracts related to production of the power plant
- He/she will take part to the management duty role
- Document management (operational, technical, administrative) related to maintenance activities
